Islamic Development Bank-Bangladesh Islamic Solidarity Educational Wakf (IsDB-BISEW) has been developing, financing and implementing various projects in the field of job-oriented education and institutional enrichment with its funds since 2003, intending to enable the underprivileged population of Bangladesh to keep pace with the world in the current information technology and technical education sector and to utilize their skills at home and abroad.
The Islamic Development Bank-Bangladesh Islamic Solidarity Education Waqf (IDB-BISEW) is accepting students for the 69th round of the IT Scholarship Program. Under the program, graduates with non-IT backgrounds get the opportunity to undergo eight and a half months of IT training free of cost. The courses are conducted by IsDB-BISEW in line with the current job market.

92 percent of the students who complete the courses under this program are working successfully in the country and abroad. IsDB-BISEW is an organization established by the Government of Bangladesh and the Islamic Development Bank, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. IsDB-BISEW designs, finances, and implements work-oriented education and various projects with its funds to employ the youth of Bangladesh in the information technology and technical education sector.
The organization is providing scholarships for 13 courses under this program. The program has been running for 19 years. It has so far produced 17,276 IT professionals who are now working in more than 3,254 organizations in the country and abroad.
Important Information
There are a total of 165 seats for admission in this eight and a half month training course of IDB IT Scholarship. The maximum age limit of the candidate should be 30 years as on the last date of application in the current round. If the candidate has joined any course in any previous round and applies for this course again, it will not be accepted. Written and oral tests will be held in Dhaka and Chittagong, and MCQ tests will be held on Mathematics and English subjects.
Benefits and Facilities
The course is conducted free of cost. It is a course worth about two lakh taka. Employment opportunities after successful completion of the course. Those who complete the course will also get the opportunity to become internationally recognized IT professionals.
What you need to know
The total number of seats in each round is 165. The maximum age limit of the interested candidate should be 30 years by the last date of application in this ongoing round. If the candidate who has joined any course in any previous round applies again, then it will not be accepted. In the case of diploma holders, all courses are conducted only in Dhaka.

- The interested candidate should be a graduate, Fazil, Master’s, Kamil pass, or studying for a Master’s or Kamil.
- Candidates should have a four-year diploma in engineering (only Computer or Telecommunication or Electronics or Civil or Architecture or Survey, or Construction).
- Candidates who have passed a 4-year Diploma in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication/Electronics/Civil/Architecture/Survey/Construction only) can apply.
